The other day I was out shopping with some friends. Almost every single item that caught our eye was either gold, silver, bronze or some mix of all three. Metallic accessories are the perfect complement to almost any summer outfit. Bold brights, fun prints, basic black, light summer whites~ it all looks so chic when paired with these accessories. And not just for night time, but day time looks as well. Matte, shiny, smooth, embossed...are you heavy on the metal look?

I counted the other day, and I think I own 13 pairs of metallic shoes. That sounds like I'm a shoe hound, but I'm not... I just have mostly metallics! And I carry a rose gold purse every day. I think it's safe to say I'm 100% on board the metallic train.

I love metallic accessories - nothing like a bit of shimmer in the daytime too. I have four pairs of silver sandals/thongs, three pairs of the same in gold, plus one pair of each in high heels, and matching handbags. Love them matt, love with a bit of pattern or embossing and love them paired with white and something summery like aqua or pink. Those handbags are to die for ! Wish we weren't in the midst of winter here.
